  • IYL Glendowie: The Tragedy of Heruta with Gila Fine
  • LIYL Remuera: In conversation with Adam and Sharon Mintz
  • LIYL Belmont: Israeli Society & Democracy with Shahar Shilo
  • LIYL Herne Bay: Remembrance of Times Past: Authors’ Panel on Writing, History and Memory with Ariel Burger, Gigi Fenster and Bram Presser (SOLD OUT)

Children aged 5 – 13, accompanied by an adult from the same family registered on a full ticket, may attend LIMMUD FREE OF CHARGE, (maximum of 3 children per full ticket).

Unfortunately children under the age of 14 cannot attend the Auckland Limmud In Your Lounge (LIYL) events due to age and space restrictions.

Please note, all children  including members of youth groups, must be registered by clicking on the ‘Register Now’ button above. Children attending free must be registered when the accompanying adult’s ticket is registered. (When you select the full ticket another option will appear to select tickets for the children attending free.)

A parent or responsible adult must remain on site at all times that children under 13 are present and accompany them when attending sessions, (other than the Children’s Programme sessions, see below). A mobile phone number must be provided during registration so we can contact you should any issue arise. Name badges must be worn at all times whilst on site.

Parents with children under 5 who need a nanny service are asked to email after registering. We will look at providing this service if there is sufficient demand, (but no promises).

LIMMUD is running sessions for children (6-12 years old) on Sunday this year, please see the Children’s Programme for session details. Your children are your responsibility during breaks and mealtimes. Children are, of course, welcome to attend any of the regular sessions, with an accompanying adult if under 13.

Kosher food is included.

Tickets offering a 60% discount on the full (non-earlybird) price are available  for students in full-time education and the unwaged.

Tickets that are eligible to receive this discount are indicated on the Registration form.

Being unable to pay the full registration price is not a reason to miss LIMMUD. If you are unable to pay in full, we request a four-hour volunteer commitment during LIMMUD NZ (or in some cases immediately before or after). If you need to take up this option, please complete this form and we will contact you with the volunteer options.

All requests to contribute time rather than money will be treated in confidence.

Please note, tickets are not refundable except in exceptional circumstances.

LIMMUD PRINCIPLE: 'For the Sake of Heaven'

We do not seek to place greater or lesser value on one way of Jewish life, thinking or belief over any other.
