Presenter expression of interest is now open for LIMMUD NZ 2016!
LIMMUD NZ is a festival of Jewish culture, through shared learning, art, culture, politics, music, text, food and more – 2016 is our sixth LIMMUD NZ. Last year over 400 people from all over New Zealand attended LIMMUD NZ.
LIMMUD works because it’s about you – everyone volunteers, everyone contributes.
All LIMMUD presenters are both teachers and participants. Whether or not you’ve presented before, if you have interesting things to say on any topic of Jewish interest, we encourage you to register your interest in presenting at LIMMUD NZ by completing this form.
Discussions, lectures, debates, “in conversations”, shiurim, and performances are all welcome.
LIMMUD presenters are expected to register to attend LIMMUD NZ (registration opens soon). Sessions usually last for one hour. If you have something to say, but not an hour’s worth, contact us about possibly being on a Panel or part of a group session.
Want to know more: Read the FAQs and then register your interest.
If you want to be involved in LIMMUD NZ 2016 but don’t want to present, there are a lot of other ways to get involved. Email firstname.lastname@example.org with what you’d like to do.
“I met Jews from across New Zealand and from all over the world; and with such diversity of stories and identities around me, I really did feel right at home”
“We thoroughly enjoyed another inspirational and thought provoking Limmud.”
“At a time of extreme tension, of concern for Jewish communities around the world, for Israel and her neighbours, this Limmud weekend gave us all an opportunity to be uplifted, comforted, challenged and extended.”
